PARENT BOOTCAMP-

PUTTING YOU IN THE SHOES OF YOUR HERO!

SEPTEMBER 7TH

10AM-3PM

Don't miss this mandatory day to start your year off right! You will come away inspired, connected, and equipped for an incredible year of growth and progress--for your whole family! Be sure to RSVP so that we can plan enough delicious lunch!

PICK UP/DROPOFF

  • Driveway Speed Limit is 5mph.

  • Always follow the FULL path of the driveway, only turning around near the main building. Please, do not cross traffic at the entrance loop.

  • Vehicles should remain as close to the side of the road as possible, leaving space for safe passing as needed.

  • All learners are to stay off the road during pick up/drop off.

  • If a learner must cross, they are to use the crossing flag at the crosswalk between the main building and pavilion, or cross with a Guide at that location.

  • Drivers & passengers must remain in their vehicle when on the driveway.

  • Park vehicle in a designated parking area if you need to talk with your learner, another parent, or are meeting with staff.

Drop-Off 8:00am-8:30am 

  • Learners are to be dropped off no earlier than 8:00am.

  • Discovery and Voyager Learners dropped off in front of the main building.

  • Navigation and Launchpad learners dropped off in front of Navigation Studio.

Pick-Up 3:15pm-3:30pm

  • The line for pick-up begins directly in front of the pavilion.

  • Leave room between the flagged cones for learners from the main. building to cross.

  • All Learners will be released to the pavilion between 3:10-3:15.

  • Have your window rolled down to communicate who you are picking up.

  • If your learner is not in the pavilion when your car pulls up, a Guide will direct you forward.

HOW TO USE BAND TO SUIT YOUR NEED!

Each studio has a specific band to keep you updated with daily goings-ons. Be sure to connect with your child's studio! Additionally, we have an EQUIP BAND for parents that will be limited to need-to-know information.

To inform about important goings-on in the community.

  • ALL PARENTS MUST HAVE FULL SET TO 'ON'

  • Emergency/closure updates

  • Safety or policy updates

  • Calendar and event information

  • Important school-wide announcements

  • Periodic Mini-posts to inform you about what is being shared on the “Inspire Band.”

CONNECT BAND

To build community and connect with other parents.

  • Post anything 'connecting'

  • Parents can post party

  • invites and play days here

  • Parents/heroes can organize "clubs" or other interest groups

  • Invite other Acton Families to join you in cool stuff you are doing.

  • Feel free to comment...in fact, COMMENT! 

INSPIRE BAND

To inspire our collective efforts to transform & grow.

  • Post anything inspiring

  • Come to this Band when you are discouraged or need a boost!

  • Share photos and stories of how your family is growing.

  • Share lessons learned & 'ah-ha's'
